Pics of the only crank I have right now in the 7a block. Also with rod attached.
Obviously cant fit piston until the block is bored out.

Rest of cranks/rods due 23rd this month so not long now guys!

Will be test fitting in my other block which has oil squirters. If it doesn't clear then some grinding action may be required.
Or you could leave them out as the rods are notched to direct oil up into the piston.

Personally id still install the oil squirters :). Thats just me. Many others dont even run the squirters and dont have an issue.

One customer in USA has nearly finished. Its a 20v Silvertop n/a build.

 

No doubt we know these will produce the numbers as everything has been designed correctly and based on many many years of knowledge from the industry :) (My self and my Fathers company where they build 350hp Coswroth N/A engines which rev to 10k)

 

Also PRB in Australia makes a 1900cc version by off set grinding the OEM crank (Limited to 8k though) and they make 240hp using 20v heads.

My engine will hopefully be built by the end of the year, but realistically probably not till sometime next year. Got other priorities at the moment, and my current engine hasnt gone kablammo yet anyway...

Also to note guys, the crank clears oil squirters if you decided to machine the block to fit them from a 4age.

A customer in the USA has got his up and running.

N/A with Silvertop head.

Still running the engine in but he says up the same steep hill with the A/C on full the car only needs 55% throttle to maintain something like 60mph, before it needed 96% throttle when it was 1600.
