Hey everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me out. I just need photos of the power steering rack bolts if possible? I think i've misplaced them and i'm not too sure

I was also wondeirng if someone could measure out their tie rod end length from where the thread starts for each side? Just need a really rough measurement to get the car driving to the wheel alignment shop. I ended up undoing the nuts completely and didn't mark down the measurements prior to undoing the nut.

Thank you :)

Mint thanks everyone :)

I was wondering if anyone could remember what the power steering bolts look like? I just need to confirm if they are taped bolts on the end (about 1cm of it doesn't have thread).

Once i know I can put the motor in hehe.

You can order them from you're local toyota parts place. Or steal some from an ae82/101/111 if my memory serves me correctly.

Can you not just use any bolt that it long enough with the correct thread?

It was more because the bolt had a certain quality rating and torque specification to them.

I think I ended up using the bolts from the front bumper by mistake. I found out which ones I need so maybe eventually i'll swap em over.

I wonder how hard it is to get to the bottom power steering rack bolts with the engine in lol
